We stand behind the work we do with our own lifetime workmanship warranty. This covers issues caused by installation errors—not just the product itself. If a mistake was made during installation, we’ll make it right, no questions asked. Whether it’s a roof improperly sealed or siding that wasn’t secured, we’ll return to correct the issue quickly and at no cost to you.

Manufacturer’s Warranty
Our roofing products come with long-term coverage from Owens Corning and IKO, which includes protection against manufacturing defects, material failures, and specific types of damage (depending on the shingle type and warranty tier you select).
These warranties are honored nationwide and backed by companies with a track record of standing by their products. When combined with our own warranty, you get layered protection—giving you total confidence in the longevity of your home upgrades.
Owens Corning & IKO Shingle Warranties
Both Owens Corning and IKO offer robust warranties that cover their shingle materials in the event of a manufacturing defect. These warranties generally cover the cost of replacing defective shingles, provided the shingles were properly installed and the issue is not the result of external damage or improper care.
You’ll have the choice of different warranty tiers based on the product line and installation method. Our team will walk you through those options, making sure you understand what’s included and how long the coverage lasts.
Exclusions may include (but are not limited to):
- Damage caused by improper installation or poor maintenance
- “Acts of God” such as hailstorms, tornados, or other severe weather events
- Roof movement, structural shifting, or foundation settling
- Alterations made to the roof after installation by another contractor
- Algae, mildew, or fungus growth not explicitly covered in the warranty terms
Special Warranty Notes
Algae Resistance Coverage
Shingles from Owens Corning and IKO often include specific coverage for algae growth, provided the staining is caused by blue-green algae (Gloeocapsa magma). This type of algae is most commonly seen as dark streaks across the roof. Other organic growth, such as moss or lichens, may not be included unless clearly outlined.
If you’re concerned about roof discoloration or algae growth, let us know during your consultation. We’ll recommend the best shingle type to minimize future concerns.
Wind Resistance Coverage
Many shingles are rated to withstand high wind speeds—up to 110–130 mph—if installed and sealed properly. However, this coverage depends on full thermal sealing, which can be affected by cold-weather installations.
Important: For full wind warranty coverage, shingles must be allowed to properly seal, which typically requires consistent daytime temperatures. We’ll always advise the best season for installation if wind protection is a top concern.
